Description
The Brute, our replica of a 1917 Creek Chub 200 Baby Wiggler, has a rounded 2 3/4" body. This dude has shoulders (or maybe a belly 😂) like a bulldog and weighs in at a whopping 5/8 oz. Mustad KVD TripleGrip hooks finish off this diminutive lure. It's one of John's favorites for big bass.
Astute angling aficionados will notice the lack of double line ties, as seen in the original. Ultimately, we found that the lower line tie provided the best action for the lure and chose to let it shine on its own, just as Creek Chub did later in production.
